🎯 Cómo usar este material

Estas cue cards están pensadas para ayudarte a hablar sin frenar, no para memorizar respuestas.

El objetivo es desarrollar fluidez, confianza y espontaneidad al hablar inglés sobre temas reales.

1. Elegí una cue card.

2. Tomate 1 minuto para pensar (igual que en el examen).

3. Anotá 3 ideas clave o palabras sueltas, no frases completas.

Ejemplo: trip → Patagonia / hiking / friends / breathtaking views

1. Hablá durante 1 minuto y 30 segundos (cronometrate).

2. No leas. No te corrijas.

3. Usá conectores naturales:

Actually, to be honest, what I mean is, so basically, on top of that…

4. Si te trabás, seguí con frases de relleno (fillers):

Let me think… / You know… / That’s a good question…

Después de hablar:

– Grabate y escuchate.

– Anotá dónde pausás o repetís ideas.

– Intentá otra vez con una estructura más fluida.

Opening → main idea → example → closing comment.

No busques “sonar nativo”.

Buscá sonar claro, natural y seguro.

Eso es lo que evalúan los examinadores bajo Fluency and Coherence.

1. Describe a person who inspires you

You should say:

  • Who the person is
  • How you know him/her
  • What they do
  • Explain why this person inspires you.

2. Describe a place you would like to visit

You should say:

  • Where it is
  • How you heard about it
  • What you would do there
  • Explain why you want to visit it.

3. Describe a hobby or activity you enjoy

You should say:

  • What the activity is
  • When/How you started it
  • Who you do it with
  • Explain why you enjoy it.

4. Describe a piece of art, book or film you like

You should say:

  • What it is
  • Where/When you encountered it
  • What it’s about
  • Explain why it appealed to you.

5. Describe an important event or occasion in your life

You should say:

  • What the event was
  • Where/When it happened
  • Who was involved
  • Explain why it was significant.

6. Describe a gift or object that is meaningful to you

You should say:

  • What the object/gift is
  • Who gave/bought it
  • Why it’s meaningful
  • Explain what you do with it now.

7. Describe a place you visited and liked

You should say:

  • Where it is
  • Why you went there
  • What you did
  • Explain why you liked it.

8. Describe something you plan to learn or do in the future

You should say:

  • What it is
  • How you will learn it
  • Why you want to learn it
  • Explain how you expect to feel after.

9. Describe a skill you have recently developed

You should say:

  • What the skill is
  • Why you developed it
  • How you practise
  • Explain the difference it made.

10. Describe a memorable journey or trip you took

You should say:

  • Where you went
  • Why you made the journey
  • What you experienced
  • Explain why it was memorable.
Notes and sample:

🎯 Reason: Friends’ long-planned getaway after graduation
💬 Experiences: Road trip through Ruta 40, stay by Lake Nahuel Huapi, trek to Refugio Frey, first time seeing real snowstorm, shared cooking, late-night talks.
📸 Why memorable: symbolic transition into adulthood, deepened friendships, sense of freedom + awe at nature.
